Fireteams..... (I am sucking up my pride and asking)
Do you you just go around inviting people if you don't know anyone? Please enlighten me.
    Thanks for your help.

When in a game, find someone who you think is playing well. Try to stick with them and play as a team, then after the match ask if they want to party up. Worst that can happen is they say no. If they do party up and both of you enjoy playing together. BAM! FIRETEAM WITH FRIENDS FTW!

    Thanks for the reply.
Given that experienced players will likely join a fireteam with other experienced players, stack one team? Does the match making place fireteams against fireteams?

Even so, it will still fill the empty slots with randoms, correct?

Correct, the rest of the slots are filled randomly...class and level

    Thanks for the explanation Torrent.
So i could randomly join a game with 4 people on a fire team (average rank of 15 for example) even if I have never played this game before? When you say class and level are you suggesting that class and rank are not accounted for or by class and rank (including or based on)? Just trying to understand.

Fire teams are great in theory but given the limited number of players on each team, it seems to give an unfair advantage to experienced players that 'know people'. I understand that a lot of the players that have been playing since the alpha disco beta version of the game and have found that they play well with certain players and then the magic occurred = Fireteam.

Players in a fire team are increasingly using a different, non in game, form of communication (mumble, team speak, or similar). Thus, leaving random joining player that needs to communicate feeling, team less, not so fresh, unwanted, and dead.. sigh.. Everyone here knows how important communication is in a team based game, nothing new. A few weeks back, games were filled with (or a lot more than now) chatter, both voice and chat. Chat is still there but, silence in my headset. Upon joining a new match I have gotten into the habit of selecting... esc-options-voice to see how many players are not using voip (the players mic volume slider will be absent).

Is the Fire Team system going to remain the same or is that being reworked too? I am guessing that a lot of player that care enough to post on this forum are comfortable with or have found a group of players/friends and don't see this as an issue. Beyond the beta version, there will be a plethora of new players and random joiners that will not understand the fire team system nor know people to invite. Getting dumped into a random game would be very frustrating and discouraging, especially when the chat messages only say 'wft push up.'

I have seen a lot of the usually fire team players randomly joining and is great to have their experience. I don't have a solution, but would like to get input from non regular fire team users.
Lastly, what the heck is the point of the add players to your fire team ****on after you found a match? A player in game can't accept an invite. If you randomly join a match, the odds are that the game will be in progress.

Maybe they'll make it more intuitive. Anyways, since we're talking about the fireteams, I might as well throw it out there that I'm an overly talkative player who's willing to PUG a fireteam anytime as long as you communicate as well, text or otherwise, callsign Compass. Let's see what we can get rolling!

I'm a player that likes to get in or pug a Fireteam but if I ask if you want in a Fireteam in the public channel i surely don't want someone that don't have comm... working, I want them to Be ready to be on a team and Respond to com.. talk, Move up when you see people are on the cap ,and it helps to tell where someone killed you and where the E is heading after you got killed. I tend to think that if you just do that we can win this ! See ya there on the feld ,Be Ready and We can Win!

I constantly talk out my fireteams strats and orders over in game VOIP even though I use ts3 with my group. Its up to the mouth breathers if they want to listen or not but 9/10 times my team is full of cowards or mouth breathers and my fireteam ends up doing all the work, there are games where we as a fireteam are the only one on our side that get any kills.
