Im betting that they will focus mostly on Ghost Recon and then hint at SC6 with a teaser. Like just the words Splinter Cell on a black and green backdrop, followed by the "pweeeeeeeeeeeeen!" of the NVGs, and then the number 6 or the sub-title. That would be so awesome. I should do the ads for ubisoft

Im a salesman I cant help it lol

I really hope we at least get a bit of info or an image or something. Didnt Jade Raymond say there would be more about SC6 "soon" like 5 months ago or something?

yeah, but all the GRFS hype has taken the stage. We probably won't here anything of SC6 till that's out the way.
Jade's news was probably old. You know how it works, the higher-ups make decisions but don't care to let anyone know till it's 'happening'
media blackout means we get nothing... including news that there's a media blackout.

Stupid? yes. How it always works? yes. Do we have to live with it? yes. Do we have to like it? no
I like that last one *evil grin

On the bright side Future Soldier looks kind of like a Conviction 2.0 when played stealthily. I especially like the gun customization. I can only hope that SC6 uses a similar system with revamped PEC mode.

Please, no. Not so much focus on such things. They may give the weapons attachments as they did in Conviction and at least give every weapon a suppressor but I really don't see where it would make sense to go into such depth costumizations for weapons in a Stealth game.

I dunno really. I'm on the fence about this one.
On the one hand, yes, SC is a stealth game so emphasis on 'using' your gun should be minimal. But on the other hand, a personal gripe of mine was always how cheaply weapons have been taken in passed SC games. The 57 in SAR was in the 'gadgets' list. That's cool, but it's not what I would have done, notably this was rectified in later iteration, but my operative's ability to use said gun hasn't evolved until recent times.

I guess, what I'm getting at is that I've always considered a spies 'suppressed pistol' to be like a Jedi lightsaber, and the new aggro stealth (like it or not) puts the pistol (specifically) high in the toolkit. Customizing my piece is something that I would enjoy, and since the gunsmith feature already exists I haven't a problem with it being in SC6... it's also several orders of magnitude better then the current attempt at weapon customization.
