    silent hunter 5

    hello...when I play the game, it keeps dropping my realism setting to 38%...what am I doing wrong????

    Hello terry110,
    I do not play SH5 so this is a guess about what might be happening. In SH4 you have options you can use and set your realism but once you go into the career mode you have to go to the options in the office and change your realism options again. Perhaps in SH5 the same thing is going on.

    thanx for the reply...I tried that every time i started the campagn...i start the game and it kicks me back to 38%. i tried to download the 1.1v patch. (because i see the fix for that problem on the fix list) but a message comes up saying that it cannot load on this game.

    If you tried downloading the patch and it will not let you install it you may want to re-install Silent Hunter 5 into any folder But Program Files (86) if you are using Vista or Windows 7.
    You could make a new Folder called Games or something like that and install the game there. For some reason all Silent Hunter games have problems being installed in the default location of Program Files.
