How do I get my ps3 remote to work with my tv?
I have the remote synced up with the ps3, but I would also like to use it for my tv. It's a 42 inch dynex tv and I have no idea how to get them to work together. Help!

Hi there,

By remote do you mean the control pad - as in the image you posted - or the official blu ray remote?


the control pad is only for playing games and using the ps3 system, it can not control the TV.

The blu ray remote - is also only for the PS3 - since it uses bluetooth to talk to the console, not the normal IR that a TV remote uses,

Some Sony TVs may have some functions you can control via the PS3 - however that is the only brand I know of?
