Cant start game "Sensapi.dll" is not found/corrupt | Forums

Hey, whenever i try launching the game from the launcher i get the message that the game cannot be started because a dll called "sensapi.dll" is not found.

The first thing i did was checking the system32 folder for this dll and it was there.

Next i downloaded sensapi.dll from a dllsite and pasted it in the game folder. This time the game started and i got all the startup logos and stuff, but when i arrived at the main menu i just got a black screen.

After these two steps i deleted the dll file i pasted into the game folder (downloaded from the internet) and performed an sfc /scannow in cmd with admin rights.

It tried repairing the sensapi.dll but could not do it. In the CBS log it says that the file is corrupt and that the file in the store is corrupt aswell.


Does anyone have any ideas that i can try to fix this problem?

Hi Tarsus,

Try reinstalling the game entirely. If a file has been corrupted during the download, a reinstall will often help. If this does not work, please send in a ticket to support: ghostrecononline.us.ubi.com/support.

Yes i did, full redownload and reinstall.

SOLVED

Had to make a complete repair of my windows installation, it seems it provided the uncorrupt sensapi.dll, but i had to manually delete it from the windows folder first.

Can now play the game
