Still? War started a month or two ago! I think you are stuck with an I-16 for quite some more time. She'll grow up on you and once you finally will switch plane type, you'll cry to get her back!

Well, got injured and was out of the war for a few months and when I came back to active service we got issued with different planes! Yay! Really couldn't handle those I-16s :s

When you change planes depends on what planes you selected when you first setup the career.

Depending on what you chose during your setup, you might be about to transfer off the I16 quite quickly or you may be keeping it a while.

Can you only have one campaign active at any one time? I started a US campaign with a different pliot but it only seems to allow me to fly the first mission and not move on to the next??

Check the difficulty settings for your campaign, if 'No Instant Success' is selected, you have to get a 'Mission Complete' in your current mission message before you can move on to the next. Its generally best to leave it off.

And yes, you can have multiple campaigns going on at the same time.
