Thread: Getting kicked a lot... | Forums

I don't know about 360 players, though I believe they had the smallest playerbase of the 3 platforms...and I believe the size of the playerbase (as well as intensity - how hardcore it is) determines how quickly a community develops and spreads effective strategies. I've played on both PC and PS3 though.

    PC vs PS3:

Joining random games, it was about the same. The majority of people you come across aren't very good on both platforms.

As for the highest level of play...my guess would be that if you somehow found out the top 25 players among PC and PS3 communities, PC would probably have 15 of them, and PS3 would probably have 10. I wouldn't be surprised if the top 5 was all PC players.

If you matched the top couple of PC players against the top couple of PS3 players, I would put my money on the PC players... but it would be a good matchup. I don't think it would be domination.

Don't underestimate the ability of hardcore players to master a game no matter what platform they are on. They've put thousands of hours into the game, tried a thousand styles of playing...and even if they weren't on PC, they had the ability to study all the streams and youtube videos available. And keep in mind that some communities capable of producing hardcore players are limited to certain platforms...like the Japanese RUSE community is mostly on PS3.

Hi Stewey. Seems like you cannot post anything without someone wanting to fight or flame you. I have also noticed people kicking me off since I am a low level (30). How are you suppose to learn. It is a dang game. Some people are good and some are bad. If a person is so dang great, like many think, then they should be able to cover a weaker player and if you want, help mentor them. But to not let someone play because you think they are not good, then that is pretty weak. Like being in grade school and only picking the good kids. That was grade school and this is a game where we try to teach people to be good players so we have more people to play with, in the multi player game. How many posting do you hear of people upset because there is no one to play with in multi-play mode. Well imagine that! Piss off the new blood and when the old vets get tired of playing, the game dies. Good job people.
I play multi-playing with a friend of mine but since we want to be better, we need to play other people, since elites do not want to play with ‘noobs’ (I have been playing since beta but have not been able to spend the time playing since the game came out since I have a wife and 5 year old to take care of instead of just myself).
We need to grow the community, not screw it over. This is a game and we are here to have fun, not insult and belittle our constituents. So we can start helping the game grow or just let it die and listen to the few remaining people cry about how multi-player bites it since no one play the game.
It is up to us. IMHO
