I don't see how they can raise it, it's a war grave, Germany wouldn't care for that at all .....We'd throw a fit if the Japanese wanted to raise the Wahoo, which is not very deep.

That may be true. But they did say one of the turrets fell out when the sub sank. that could be recovered and put on display
