Offline Map Testing | Forums

I'm pretty sure this would be extremely difficult for the developers (financially), but I think it would be cool to be able to load up maps while the online server is offline just to test map points.
As much as I would love to do this during online mode, I find it difficult to easily move around the without being disturbed.
I am not competent with how one would be able to to create this offline mode when it seems to me that maps are loaded on your servers, but maybe there is something I am missing.

Yes, MLG looks at all games that might fit their competitive model. Arena styled games like this are very entertaining to watch if the player is very skilled. Go watch my boy Infidius stream on twitch.tv very fun PoV to watch.

The only way this game would be picked up by competitive Esports would be if they had the ability to set up custom games. So ya I'm hoping this game could be lan compatible in some way. An even if MLG does not pick it up as a main game, they would likely offer online tournys on their gamebattles website. I think this game can build alot of excitement threw certain players eyes. The dev team is on the right track to making a very high intensity game with alot of OMG NO HE DID NOT JUST DO THAT moments.

Speaking of e-sports/entertainment value/loading maps in a "sandbox" mode.

How about a free-camera in that mode that we can activate to fly around and take screenshots and videos of the map?

I'd enjoy a "practice mode" in the future as well that puts bots into the game.
