Cheater caught, named 'Edras' (speedhack and possible aimbot) | Forums

Hey guys, today i've encountered a blatant cheater in 1 particular game and i've managed to get a couple of clips of him using his speedhack and possible aimbot.

His name was 'Edras' and i've only seen this once, but then again i've only been playing for a day.

I hope you guys can do something with this or perhaps get his account deleted cause this obviously ruins the experience but ofcourse i understand it's still beta and possible exploits are to be found

Wow I hate hackers they have ruined so many games, its a shame but I expected to not see any for a while since it was a closed beta. Hopefully UBI will be able to do things to stop the kids like this. Thanks for posting the video as now it shows proof of people doing it. I have come across someone the other day who was using a OPK and couldn't record as the game got way to laggy,

Yes you are correct, i couldn't find a simmilar feedback forum in the EU section, should i post there instead?

Chem, seems like there's a better chance of catching it now that there are more people in the beta (seems like now we have more of the "seedy" types).
Ran across quite a few people last night that were pretty obviously using some kind of aimbot and radar.

I just hope GRO doesn't end up like Combat Arms. Since Ubi is a bigger company than Nexon, hopefully they will take in consideration that players spend real money on this game, and they won't let the hackers hack just so they can rake in more money. Hopefully they get a decent program to stop hackers, or at least use a hardware address ban so they can just change their ip and get back in.

Please remember that the speed of each player differs from his armour. When they are on high levels they are likely to be faster. I don't want to defend this guy and hate hackers as well but this is a fact you should keep in mind.

lol @ the reply above >.< given the fact that armour with affect movement speed that has nothing to do with this person being caught hacking while warping across the map >.< should get this player done ruining the beta and potentially ruining the actual game when released. Nice job in catching this hacker though hope ubi will do something about it soon.

Yeah I'm fairly certain there isn't a speed boost on your armor that gives you 1000% increased speed... GG
