    Question Cannot install: Launcher error

    When I double click the Launcher, I get

    "Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor." error. If I keep trying, sometimes I get "Verifying application requirements. This may take a few moments." which stays for a while, and then the Application Install - Security Warning window. But as soon as I click INSTALL, I get the "Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor." error again.

    I already checked this issue online, and made sure .NET is functional. My account is already an admin account. I also checked the http://launcher.gro-ncsa.ubi.com/ address, which seems to be Win8 server, but was useless.

    I guess I cannot complain much since this is beta, but if I cannot even install the game, that means there must be A LOT of things that needs fixing.

    So, what now?

    If you would, please send in a ticket to Support here: ghostrecononline.us.ubi.com/support so we can assist you directly. You will need to attach a DXDiag to the ticket. To do so, follow these instructions:

    1. From Windows, click Start->Run
    2. In the Open: box, Type DXDIAG
    3. Click the save ****on to save the file as a text file in your Desktop.
    4. Click the back ****on in this browser and attach the file at the bottom of the page.
