It's interesting when the AEGIS first started bouncing grenades, yes for the first day or two teams pushed like crazy with it. Then I started observing some side-effects and counter-reactions creeping in to our internal play tests:
- Timed grenades become more valuable. This is good; before this most people used impact grenades.
- Blackout becomes more valuable ... this [anecdotably] seems to be helping with the "too many recons" problem in our internal tests. Every team wants at least a couple Specialists.
- Because Blackout tends to be around more, I've noticed it being used more to counter other abilities too, especially a Blitz-oriented push. Try this: it is enomously satisfying to pull off.
