How to find aircraft carrier in Blockade Germany ?

I'm on that mission right now as well. The only time I have ever run into a carrier was while it was in port, but when I sank it, it didn't count. What I understand is that you have to catch it out during patrol. An icon will appear on the map, and that is where a carrier is.

Hi, I found mine about 60km south of Portland heading west. A Illustrious class with 5 escorts. I tip I like to use and it always seems to work is with game slows down at about X2000 time compression, submerge and put X32 compression and then something always get a sonor contact. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the information veryniceperson. I don't play SH5, my computer when it first came out could not handle it.
If any of you that play SH5 could stop by once in awhile to this forum, your experience maybe able to help others out better then me.

I always found one of the southwest corner of England in the straits. They seem to hang close to shore then come out now and then. You need to hang out tin the straights long enough for one to come out.

I found mine on February 27th 1940 centre of circle

When your are patrolling in open sea and an Airplane comes, drive into the direction it came from. I had his sonar signal 10 miles away but was delayed by his support ...

and finally i Got him. Just like jjnewton2011, i found him late Feb 1940. But West from the Centre of the circle. You just have to be patient and keep looking
