BIA: Road to Hill 30 "Invalid Patch File"
Hello forum,
I would like to play Brother in Arms: Road to Hill 30 after a long time on my Windows 7 PC. I installed the game, but now I have some trouble with the patches.

I insert an image of the problem. I hope someone knows what to do.
Best,
Daan

Usually the reason for the error that you are receiving is because the patch cannot locate the version that it is patching to. If you have the retail copy of the game that installs from a disk you will need to make sure that you are not downloading and installing the digital download version patch and vice versa. Also some of the later released disks and downloads of the game come pre-patched. You can see what patch version you have by checking the read me file.

Okay thanks, I have contacted them.

Thanks pennygod for your reply. I already noticed there is a difference between digital and retail. I have the DVD-ROM, so I downloaded the Retail DVD Version. Unfortunately, it won't work. My version isn't fully pre-patched, just v1.02.

The Support Team told me that the reason the game isn't working, is because I have Windows 7.

Hey DaanQ95
Is the game not launching and playing?
The later patches for the game that you are trying to install are mainly just for multiplayer changes. The multiplayer servers have since been discontinued because of age and lack of use so you will not need the later patches.
