Yea...that BF3 style makes sense, but I don't think anyone has an advantage diving and aiming. I either still die or I live. I've had people dive at my feet and more times then not, I kill them because I am better at aiming quickly then they are....Now if Dolphin diving won every fire fight, then it would be OP...but as it is....it's fine. Also....even though the BF3 vid above is more realistic....this game is not BF3. If I wanted BF3...I'd go play that...which I don't. I think GRO is much more fun. It feels more truelly competitive because the maps aren't soooo huge.

The problem is that divers don't need to be nearly as good at aiming to dive and get a kill. The just run straight at you, dive and hold fire. You actually need to aim.

There has been no news as to when the beta will be back online. I wouldn't expect anything to happen until at least June. As for the coupon codes, the one that was previously available was released to make up for an unexpected and lengthy downtime that the servers experienced when they first went online as 24/7 servers. There are currently no active coupons available for redemption.

If everyone can do something...it's not an imbalance. Some people know how to use cover better than others...some people know how to shoot sniper rifles better than others....but I don't scream out "imbalance".

You do have to aim while diving...you have to aim at all times to center your gun.

We just have to agree to disagree on this because I've been killed by divers but as a diver myself...it's no big deal. I'd rather be killed by someone diving....then some guy who has a lvl 20+ sniper rifle I never see.

I must say that you all have got it right with this game, have enjoyed playing ( even though I am not the best player) and am looking forward to getting back into the game with phase 3. Keep up the good work I know that it will only get better.

The game was designed with Windows 7 as the primary OS in all likelihood (as it's the latest, greatest version right now). .NET Framework 4 SHOULD have everything you need, but you should still be able to install 3.5 without issues.

If you encounter issues, try uninstalling 4, installing 3.5, and then installing 4 again.

EDIT - A question for the developers/marketing department:
Will we ever see Ghost Recon Online in the Steam free-to-play section? I absolutely love using Steam and I hate it when I've got games with launchers that I can't get the Steam overlay working with natively. I am aware there is a method to getting the Steam overlay working for the game right now, but it's not native.

We don’t allow attachments to be removed from a weapon because micro-managing attachments across weapons isn’t fun. We are looking into other mechanics for allaying the pain of replacing an attachment.

I don't micro manage attachments across guns. I just want to not have to destroy an attachment I like to get a different one that I think will be better, find out I don't like it and/or its not better, and have to re-earn the RP back that I lost.

Will GRO be available on worldwide scale (not just US and Europe) ? I've been playing this game during the closed beta phase 2 and totally loving it, but I'll be going back to my homecountry (Malaysia) and I would be glad if I can still play this game. T_T It's just sad to not be able to play GRO...
