Hello Andrew, I was wondering how a player can ruin the DLC by boycotting for a week. I could be wrong but I dont think anyone who boycotted was a developer of this game. Just wondering

Side note: I believe the game was ruined before the boycott not because of the boycott.

Beause of you guys ubi tried to fix what wasn't broken. The boycott was pointless and only prevented people from playing the dlc they bought rather than getting actual fixes for the game. There was nothing wrong poison and now there's something wrong with the super smokes added because you boycotters asked for it. If you are going to boycott, then you should do it right and boycott the next game and you might have an actual impact on something.

if you flushed half your brain down the toilet and paid good money for the DLC you deserve the empty void while searching for a game especially when a thread about boycotting got 10,000 views in 3 days with most people saying they wouldnt buy it regardless of the boycott or its outcome

The boycott may have been pointless to you but are you saying that because those that participated in it and abstained from playing it for a week have made such an impact that the DLC doesnt work right. If thats the case then thanks for the compliment and I guess it wasnt for nothing. It also sounds like you dont know what the boycott was about so let me tell you what it was about for me... It was about getting us together as a player base community into one place(The boycott thread) to discuss what is wrong with the game and decide whether or not we were willing to participate in a boycott, for one week, to show how much we care about the game and want our complaints heard. It was about getting responses from Ubisoft because the customer service is terrible. It was about trying to get MAJOR issues fixed that would help everyone(participant or not) like matchmaking, lag fixes and customer communications between UBISOFT and us. If these things sound horrible to you then I can see why you didnt participate. As far as the game mechanics that they decided to "fix" in the last patch...The boycotters didnt tell them what to fix so dont blame us!

i come on the foprums just to see if they are any updates that would help me decide whether to play ACR ever again...but I see that ever since they announced AC3 they expect us to be satisfied with that. I havent even played the game in a month. But since pre-orders are already through the roof, the lackluster effort to pretend to care about the community is now no longer needed. I am going out on alimb to say that there will be no more weekly updates and as a result, AC3 will be another clusterflux at least multiplayer wise.

what made the boycott pointless was you guys were boycotting a DLC worth 10$. I think it would have been smarter to boycott *** creed 3. Now the only thing you accomplished was ruining the DLC and overpowerring smokebomb and poison. You guys did nothing but make the game worse in every way. You have ruined the fun for a lot of people because you didn't know how to time a smoke or pull off a poison. I'm not the only one that thinks this, there are plenty of people that have left the game after the update.
