My guess is that Ubisoft will release an edition called "American Edition" and it will probably have some special goodies. However, it might be just like the Signature Edition for ACR (which really wasn't a bad deal).

Well that edition is already available for pre-order it is the standard edition with pre order bonuses one map. one multi skin and one upgradable weapon. That is what the sign at my local gamestop advertised. . However you probably missed out on the steel book. unless you already have it... Which is pretty much the same edition as the signature edition minus the name.
Most game companies do this sort of thing for companies that carry their product to sweeten the deal as an incentive for costumers to order early and lay down some cash. but it's hardly special or novel. The list of game companies and games where their standard editions come with a couple of bonus content items is too numerous to list. But that is in no way a CE or LE. it's just a standard edition

I'm holding out hope that Ubi will announce some kind of CE for N.A. at E3, but if not, I'll have to accept the fact that we're only getting the game, the steelbook case (for those who were lucky to get one), the bonus mission and the MP character. And that I'll have to get the Connor statue from Ebay because I already pre-ordered the Join or Die Edition from JB-HiFi in Australia. It's sad that Ubi is willing to just let their N. American fans get the CE's by either getting the full CE or pieces parts of one off of Ebay or by importing one from another country like Australia. Hopefully Ubi will announce one hell of an CE for N.A. because I would like nothing more than to cancel my Join or Die pre-order from JB-HiFi.

Well for where I live they usually wait to announce some special CE. In the past I preordered early and all they had were basic editions but then weeks later a CE is announced and I usually switch it. So for now I have not seen anything really good but I just want to get my monies worth, 80.00 is a good amount to spend on a game and deserves some goodies. I know when I was at PAX if you preordered there at the Ubisoft section you got an AC3 teeshirt, but I already have one I ordered from them so I didn't bother.

Im hoping that what NA AC3 CE we may get, that it may inlcude a DVD of the making of AC3 and a retrospective of current AC universe (like in the gamecube disc of Legend of Zelda Collector's Edition where it had a video from Zelda-Windwaker) and perhaps like an Archive (Haha) of all things AC in the video like an encyclo or something. eh it's wishful thinking but don't hurt to think about.

All other games that I own have announced a CE, for all regions way before E3. As of right now, I'm guessing that all we're getting is a Signature Edition, and those of us who were lucky got a steel-case.

I hope Ubisoft proves us wrong.

When the mod, a few pages back, said we're getting something good, I hope it's a CE and not another Signature Edition.

please, please, please, and please ubi please come out with a CE with some kick-*** stuff for the USA. i have never been a fan of buying CE stuff, to be honest this will be my first(if you guys release a badass CE for it). i really want the conner statue. when i heard that ac3 was set in america i got really psyched for it. whenever you guys released the steel case for pre-order, i went and pre-ordered the game, another first for myself. i dont pre-order games because usually the incentives are normally not that good enough for me to pre-order, and if they are, they usually get released as DLC later on down the road. also may i add the steel case is ****ing awesome, i love it, got it on display with my ac3 gameinformer magazine. anyways moral of the story please ubi release a super duper kickass Collectors Edition of AC3 in the USA so i can throw $120 of my hard earned money at your face. I think everyone should wait until E3, and if nothing is announced then, then you should assume that your not getting a CE

I was a huge fan of the AC games specially AC2 that was my favorite and when ubi announced ACIII I was so excited until they announced the collectors editions and not include NA like they did with Revelations.I was felt cheated with the signature edition but this time they cross the line and looks like they don't try to do something to prevent the biggest mistake in its history for not give us the NA region (ubisoft's gold mine) what we want and deserve a good ACIII CE.Now that Call of Duty Black Ops 2 will announce tomorrow I will go to gamestop to cancel my ACIII preorder and use the money to preorder Black Ops 2. I'm not going to be cheated not this time with another some kind of signature edition.
