I would end it with the beginning of FarCry 4.

I'd like to see Farcry 3 end with some cutscenes/preview to the beginning of Farcry 4...which of course, we'd be playing on the Xbox 720...

I'd like to see different endings. Maybe a good ending, bad ending and insane ending? Who knows?

I would also like to see multiple endings but one of those endings

A good did not get too changed by the island - escape with friends

A bad is now crazy as heck and most of the friends are dead and is roaming island

An evil is now in charge of the island basically eliminating all of the competition and uniting all the non hostiles on the island

The places you conquer will be populated by NPC and they'll give you side missions

I would end it with you being alive (obviously) with all of your friend dead. and there are always going to be insane people on the island, so that you could still be in free roam and just do little missions, like how red dead redemption was.

and at the same time, also leading into a beginning of farcry 4.

Would be fun to be able to finish the side quests after having done the main story. TBH the first thing I thought about when I read the title was that the game ended with the player unlocking something for the map editor or multiplayer.

I would have 2 alternate endings based on how you played the game. The trigger would be unknown to the player, so you can imagine what the replay ability of it would be. HUGE.
