my cd-key from steam wasnt working and i got temp banned. How long for and how do I fix my cd.key?

Usually a temporary ban lasts 15 to 30 minutes.

It seems to be lasting longer than that for me... and when I DO get unbanned for this crap authentication service will my key even work? Just bought this **** game.

Same thing is happening to me, no wonder people pirate games when legit purchasers have to deal with this BS.

Man I just bought this game it ****ing temp banned me. This really sucks. How long is the F-ing wait time!!!!!!!!!

OK folks - I am now also banned and getting the same issue with the Steam key so I went to the Steam support forums and this MAY be their error. They have a notice up stating that the key should be entered in LOWER CASE letters otherwise it won't work. The key that is pasted from clipboard within Steam automatically pastes in UPPER CASE characters.

I'm still banned so can't try this. Can anybody else try entering in lower case letters and see if that works at all and let us all know if it does?

I can't enter lower case letters at all, so I don't think that will work
