Jahura sees red for Tora? I am pretty sure I established purple as her main aura color, somewhere, with her astral voice being different than the aura. During the Faerie adventure, whatever it was called, Tora made her way through the Underworld. It turned her astral voice purple, until she went back through the Underworld to get home. And when she had that major split in the beginning, Tora Plum (the rogue astral) was purple. There's a good chance here that there are more than one wavelength within Tora's energy/aura, maybe physical/spiritual or conscious/subconscious as red/purple. Maybe the incident with Tora Scarlet and Tora Plum split created this?

Purple is also the color Tora chose for the "tattoos" which helped her focus her psi abilities (they have since washed off, being makeup). Dorian's tattoos are blue/teal (and actual tattoos, though some were erased and others changed by the faerie magic). I think I wrote it this way as an indication of spiritual/psychic energy, and deliberatly differing from astral voice color.

And since we have so many people using blue, if Dorian needs a color voice he will likely not be blue.

"Oh, you can't help that," said the Cat: "we're all mad here. I'm mad. You're mad."
"How do you know I'm mad?" said Alice.
"You must be," said the Cat, "or you wouldn't have come here."

Thank you, Jahura! I couldn't remember which deity it was. You are absolutely right, it was you!

I've played around with trying to see auras a bit in Real Life (not that I was ever really successful); therefore, Marae might be able to see them about as well as I can (in other words, hardly at all on a good day). I'm perfectly happy for that not to count.

Well, whatever Tora's color is. I read red earlier so I just assumed. I'll try and follow along with whatever color you say Tora is.

But jahura's color is blue. Sapphire blue. . Since it doesn't show up so well for Marae I'll have to pick a commonly used corresponding font to use in place of color.

You read red because Tora's astral voice is red. That much is true. And her astral voice is telepathy, so if what Jahura is perceiving as color is telepathy, then yes she would see red. I can certainly work in the idea that the red energy Jahura is (can? will?) perceive for her voice is seperate from her aura. You've given me ideas!

Her base aura color is purple. That's her spiritual energy, for lack of better terms. Red seems connected to her psychic powers, or perhaps her conscious mind (or both). I think I will go with yellow as the color representing Bast's Gift, connecting Tora and Neko (but only a small touch of the color in both of them, and as a thread between them). I haven't worked out what other color(s) would be in Tora's aura, as I like to have them representing something. Probably green and possibly blue, since I like those colors. The purple in varied shades (maybe violet or amethyst and a deep purple), the green and blue in a single deep shade. Once I've figured out what it all stands for...

Excuse me rambling on about colors. I love colors! I like to color-code, mix and match, coordinate and contrast... and patterns! Designs! Meaning! This is probably why I got into quilting.

Well, I suppose I'll lay my cards on the table, so to speak.

For the mogs, I'm going with yellow as their aura color. That's both the color of their eyes, windows to the soul, and the color of the hanyo energy they emit at times. If we ever run into Myself again, he'll probably have a duller shade, perhaps Golden Rod, as opposed to Boppy's bright, vibrant yellow. Id may never be seen again, but his aura would be a very demonic red, read Fire Brick. Isaac is no longer a mog, and he's had some trouble establishing himself as a complete being, so he'll be a very drab dim grey until he gets past that obstacle. As for Jennifer, I think her aura is best portrayed as teal, since they don't have aquamarine. I'm not sure why. It just seems to suit her.

I'm sure I could read between the lines,
if only the lines themselves were a little clearer...

Dorian as a werewolf - now there's something I wasn't expecting! As I said in another thread: when Faerie is involved, all bets are off!

Doesn't mean that will happen on a regular basis. He's not (usually) able to shift into "magical" or "mythical" forms (whatever you want to call them in a fictional universe).

I really need to start filling out his permenant forms. Unfortunately I lost my list somewhere... I need to go digging. All these little pieces of paper everywhere.

I know he's got some Australian forms, some New Mexico forms, and a few others. I cut out a lot of predators in favor of oddities like the roadrunner and kangaroo. Any thoughts on a Red Panda form for him? They're cute! But I already established a Ring-Tailed Lemur for the "cute tree-climber" category.
