And we're on a roll! Yay!! Thanks for the reminder Dorian is also there, that proved to be helpful. I can't see Tora and Marae (the writers) leaving Duke and Neko behind for long so many more delay tactics are planned on my part if they need to catch up.
Well, leaving Neko and Duke behind is a moot point now that the whole group has rushed into the cave, but now, we have other issues. I didn't think the werewolves would fail to notice a collision of myriad species at their front door, and besides, the group has been lingering at the cave mouth for pages now. I'm no Nyrond expert, but I think it's up to Tully at this point. Either that, or the whole group gets captured and has to engineer a daring escape. Actually, that could be benificial since the group is bound to notice some useful details as they get carted off to jail.
Sorry if my contributions are delayed, but right now, I think twice a week is the best I can manage.
Okay, update. The Pompeii refugee/Nuva-Nova-Neva Roma thing has been scrubbed and they have been re-routed to an Age where they don't have contact with TOOO and Cannax. TOOO, I apologize if you were frustrated by this.
OT: Actually, I wouldn't have minded going with the story we were creating. I had all kinds of ideas about static loops, pocket universes and all that. But, as the good Doctor once said, "Time can be re-written."
Or can it?.
Okay, not too late to fix...but I need some communication on this side. I thought you had quit and I messed up again. What do you have in mind? I'm kind of floundering so any suggestions are more than welcome.
I have absolutely no idea what in heck is going on with that, but I don't think TOOO even knows about this thread. I have only ever seen him post in the A&C.
But anyway, sorry for the delay, but I had mid-terms. Dorian and Boppy are going to scout about while Tully does his thing. I won't mind at all if someone else writes what they find (read: please help!).
Good. I broke that rule going on the idea that a strong odor might trigger a shapshifter who has no control over the shapes he shifts into and it was only meant to be temporary. But a further question would be: if Dorian is from a magical realm, why would his first instinct be to search for tech?
Well, linking is an advanced form of techonology, not magic, so it stood to reason that you would need teck to block teck. I figured Dorian would come to the same conclusion, but that might just be my bias as a technology engineer shining through.
