Oh, you got back to me finally, what did you do, go and google Christianmas? Ha ha, well the joke's on you pal, Christianmas isn't a real religion see, I just made it up.
Why would Jesus ever have a nuke, he might aspire to owning a John Deer some day but that's about it. Enough about my landscaper though, was that 50's crack a joke about me being old? Yeah, well, your Mom is OLD! Woo hoo, who looks foolish now yo? (you, that's who), yeah your Dad is old too, and your Grandparents, yeah, have some of that. BURN!
Mess with the Bull you get the horns dude.
OT: that Sneaky Bastards article Sameer turned us on to says SC6 is expected 2013.

I just want the game to be about stealth again, not a stealth action game. I watched a lot of SCC when it came out, having been a SC hardcore fan since the original game it really hurt me to see the degradation of the series to such a casual and non splinter cell extent. Playing the demo pretty much solidified what I thought, you are forced to kill 2 people at the start, forced to incapacitate another before even really starting the mission. I remember the game JUST before that where you could play the game without alerting a single person.
you didn't have to knock people out, you could just use stealth.
I LOVED being able to get in and do what I needed without anyone even really knowing I was there, during or AFTER. Just like how I loved hitman games for the ability to do it perfectly and get a single fiber wire kill without ever getting spotted or noticed or harming anyone but my target, I loved splinter cell because of the ability to do the missions flawlessly instead of being forced to play like jason bourne.
If you want to be respected, fight fair. If you want to win, do what is necessary.
Well Splinter Cell was always a "Stealth/Action" but that's just how Stealth games are called. I don't think it's bad to give the options to play Splinter Cell more "actiony" but there should be consequences for these actions. Other then that it isn't wrong to have a more defensive or an aggressive way to do it stealthy. I agree though that Splinter Cell should prefer Stealth at least to 75%.
As Andre said, Splinter Cell is a Stealth/Action game, wasn't the first SC Stealth Action Redefined ?!, the problem with SCC is that it's more into Aggro-Stealth where you are on the offense, and being aggressive, you can do that and be totally stealthy, while the Passive Stealth is kinda missing, and not focused on, I think SC6 will have the Fast Paced Stealth while also enabling to play Slow Paced Stealth.
And if memory serves, only in CT can you be a Ghost, in SAR & PT you got in fire fights, and there was action here and there, so the action is very much part of the series, but let's go back to have it more realistic style instead of explosions.

Yes and no. Renember the Bathouse from CT? When Shetlands guards arrive, there is no way that you can pass it stealthly. PT and SAR had these kind of moments too, but movement was really slow without much takedowns, you often had to shoot all the lights, find the way to distract the guards and hide every single body, because someone will find it, even if you already killed everybody. And if memory serves, only in CT can you be a Ghost, in SAR & PT you got in fire fights, and there was action here and there, so the action is very much part of the series, but let's go back to have it more realistic style instead of explosions.
