Most of the top clans in GRO that i see forming will probably be formed by the people who are alrdy in parties with each other alrdy and have a sort of reputation. Also ive never even seen these clan people in-game XD.

I agree with Frost and the PinkTaco. I would hazard a guess that there will be elite parties on the server instead of clans. Besides, from what I have read from the clans advertising here, you would have to dedicate some time to them. I would rather play than talk.
People who want to have a meeting to schedule a meeting need to put some thought into it. Sounds like work to me.
But since I am here and I am talking...

Yeah xD The only clan I've seen so far that I think may rise pretty fast is CK, as I was a member of that clan a while back. Still, I'm betting that if clans do start becoming a big thing, I'm betting someone with influence will just start one and grab all the highest-up players, eh? I mean, at least most of you seem to get along pretty freakin' well, eh?I mean, I could only imagine the horror of having T321, PinkTaco, and Superhero constantly working together on the same team (just to name a few bigshots) And yeah, I can hear you about that last part, but since the game's in the shop for maintenance, so to speak, I'd say it's better than nothing, eh?

I play vs teams like that all the time. I'd rather face a challenge anyways. My thoughts on kdr is that they are less important in an objective based game than most. For instance: My kdr is slightly lower than that clan's requirement, but I'd wager the team I'd assemble to fight them would have a good shot at winning. Stats can be padded, teamwork cannot.
This actually makes me think of a match I had in phase 1. We were on Moscow tunnels, and had pushed all the way down the tracks and back almost to the enemy spawn. We had a few guys trying to grab the last point, when another player told us to stop capping, and that we had 5 minutes to "farm kills". To my amazement, none of our team listened to him, and we capped for the win instead.
He wasn't real happy that we ended his padding session, but his magic internet numbers mean less to me than the win does, so I live with it![]()

Yeah, I know what you mean. I play strictly recon, but I actually focus on helping my team and covering their advances, or holding points, instead of sitting at the end of the longest hallway I can find, like many. I Actually get many more points from that, even if I always die right before the cap is made out of bad luck q.q
To be honest, I haven't played a game in years that K/D was a viable means to judge someone's skill by. I've gone 1-3 in BF3 and gotten 3x the points of the second place person on my team, and won, because I was calling out kills for people. Similar situations in this game, when playing with smart players, and not lagging profusely, If I'd sit back, calling out enemies for my team, it'd secure a victory, even though I'd get only a few kills. Still more than satisfying, to say the least.

My thought on clans would be that they're a good place to meet up some other strong players. From there you can form smaller elite subsets inside clans which would the majority of top gamers.
