I don't know what details are relevant, but i'll stick with whats probably most relevant of all:

I'm using windows 7 on a PC.

And when I try to install Settlers Rise of an Empire I get this:




I loved playing this game in the past and want to play it again. . .Please help. :/

Data error woukld indicate a corrupt file.
If it's on CD then clean disk, otherwise, have you a backup.?
It works on Windows 7 just fine, I've just been playing it b4.

.. oh and one other idea, try a different CD/DVD drive if you have one
