Shouting out to ESRB here, please make AC3 a Teen or E10+ game if possible because I was reading an article in GameInformer about AC3 and it looked very cool. I want to get this and not be yelled at by my parents or guardians. The front appeal to the parents will sell better for ESRB and Ubisoft and will let more people be able to play games with this kind of interesting stories. If possible, lower the ESRB rating a little. Thanks.

It says 18 on the trailer right now, but it might well end up being a 15 in the end like all the others. The 18 rating is only provisional, and it won't get a real rating until later.
It will be no less than a 15 though, due to all the shooting and stabbing, and the games have sometimes featured some (tame) sexual content.
Don't bother. It'll be rated M in America or Pegi 18 in the UK.

EASY SOLUTION: Go into options, turn off blood. Then you have a violent teen game.
Also, get the other games, they're amazing.
All good things come to those who wait. Just think how happy you'll be when you hit 18 (or 15, if you live in the UK) and nobody will yell at you for getting a game that is actually geared towards your age group.
