Error when starting Settlers 7 | Forums

I just bought Settlers 7 online using Steam. Now I try to start it and it doesn't work. This is the error message I get:

What should I do? I paid a lot of money for this game, I really want this game to work.

Not that I'm that tech savvy, but a short search seemed to indicate that your computer is OK. I would guess that the trouble is with your graphics card. If you just have the card that came with the computer (Intel HD Graphics card?), it is probably not good enough for Settlers 7.
