Thread: CGZ marker map | Forums

1. #21
Why do we need a marker map, thay may not be in the same place as thay were in live.

But I may be wrong.

MODS -- Just wanted to comment on what I was referring to:

uru clothing

This is a thread referring to some t-shirts that have uru-related logos on them. It was posted in off-topic. (See, it's not exactly "in game").

Result:

quote:
This section is for Off Topic discussion only.

Please go Here.

This pointer will be deleted in two days.

Now where did I get the idea that anyone was cranky or arbitrary?

Unknown-One, you may well be right. If so I hope it is because it the devs have improved their act.

tabor_soros, a LOT has happend in the last week or so. What ever else has failed us I do not think it was the mods.

You can get more locations in this thread:
egg room coordinates
also check this one marker locations- It definatly shows where they are, but I don't know if it gives coordinates.

do a search for markers and yo may come up with more - I came up with 10 pages of references

Katran - 02317000
Atrus - 04229459
Achenar - 00646307

Okay, here it is:

The Mother of All GZC Marker Coordinates Collections

I collected these by choosing the various GZC missions and taking screenshots of my KI as I collected the markers and the coordinates appeared as chat text (more or less).

Some notes:

1) The file is a comma-delimited text file. There are four fields: Mission number (beginning with the top row, left column mission as #1, proceeding down the first column to #7, continuing to the top row, second column, as #8, then finishing at the bottom row to #14), torans, horizontal distance, and vertical distance. The latter two are in spans. You should be able to import it into a spreadsheet and work out the (X,Y,Z) coordinates in there. If you don't know how to get from these coordinates to (X,Y,Z) space, enter "polar coordinates" into Google and go from there.

2) I have made no corrections for what I've identified as an error in coordinates that have torans in the 30000s. I'm certain that these coordinates are off by 180 degrees (31250 torans).

3) I'm missing markers for several missions:

Mission 2: 10 missing
Missions 3- 5: 1 missing from each
Mission 7: 2 missing

4) I'm pretty sure I've mixed up Missions #8 and #9 somehow, as my notes include two sets of markers for Mission #8, but there are differences. So I've listed two sets of markers for Mission #8: 8.1 (with 20 markers, so I think it's the real #8), and 8.2 (with 18 markers, which is 2 too many for mission #9). In any case, the marker coordinates are real, it's just that I'm unsure of the mission #.

5) I make no claim for perfect accuracy, as there might be transcription errors.

Enjoy, and post any questions you might have in this thread.

Good job Zardoz!!
I wrote the coordinates down as I found them.
Seems we are missing most of the same ones.
I did find the one for mission #5
58121,56,-76
My notes tell me I found this one past the Hall of Kings on the balcony.

Mark: I've been meaning to reply after I got through entering all my coordinates, but I just haven't finished yet. I've got coordinates for about 95% of all the accessible GZC markers, which I'm slowly entering into a spreadsheet. I can't send them to you yet, as they were recorded in screenshots. I'll post again when I've got them all entered, this weekend, I hope.

Shorah Zardoz,

You might find this list interesting: KiKi's CGZM Coordiantes

While KiKi's list is nearly completed, she could use some help with two of the marker coordinates in Missions 7.

Thanks, Zardoz!
