Cannot start launcher. | Forums

Ok, I was really excited over CBT and getting the key and all. But I am having one or two problems simultaneously...

First problem I encountered was that I could not log into my own ****ed account...I made sure the beta key was inputted into the correct account and all and everything was valid. It was.

SECOND problem, I searched around the forums, looking for an obvious problem but stupid repeated (god knows why people keep repeating the same questions when it's right there...) kept getting in the way and couldn't find this solution, and found some people saying to go to task manager when starting the launcher, switch it to admin, and it should help. I did JUST that...Guess what it said? "Application cannot be started. Contact the application vendor.".

C'MON UBI, I never had a single problem with ANY closed beta tests I was ever in, why you, why in a great, fantastic game as this? I wanna play this great game, I was hyped up about getting the key and all, and learning when it would be out for CBT, now this has made me feel worse than before I knew about the CBT release date...

Please fix the two problems (anyone may offer help).

i had that problem went 2 game launcher would not work but n Fire wall u can Fix settings sometimes fire wall will block it click allow & off u go hope thats works it did 4 me

Try to run the game launcher as administrator.

1.- Start the launcher .
2.- If the error come, open your taskamanager . Go to Process. select '' Launcher.exe'' with right click.
and go to '' Open in Folder ''
3.- Now Start ( in the folder) the Launcher.exe as Admin.
4.- Let them Patch

Hi, I just got my beta code for the closed 2 days ago and I have not been able to log in. I have done everything stated in this thread. I have made sure all the boxes are checked for the .net setup and I have tried opening it as an administrator and I still get nowhere. Please help me I would like to play before the beta is over. Thank-you
