    xBox 360 Controller Vibration

    Good evening,

I am a great fan of the Assassin's Creed series, however I'm limited to PC gaming. I own a Logitech Cordless Rumblepad II which I love. However, I've read that Assassin's Creed is FULLY compatible with xBox 360 controller ONLY. I've ordered that controller and I should have it in a few days. I just want to know if vibration/rumble will be available through this controller. Please don't tell me that I don't need rumble or anything, it's what I want. So, do the AC games support vibration under this controller?

    Thank you.

    Hi,

Vibration should be able to work with the Xbox 360 controller. Let us know if you have any trouble with it.

Thanks for your reply. So far I'm only reading good stuff about the controller's compatibility. H*ll, the game itself has a XBOX360 Controller option in the settings. I can't wait to get my hands on it in the next few days. I feel bad though for my Cordless Rumblepad II, it's a shame I couldn't get it rumble with AC. :/

    Really !?
I have got AC2 and the XBOX 360 Controller is not even supported correctly (Most of the ****ons do not work at all, the others do weird things).
I am actually browsing threads on forums full of people not able to play with XBOX 360 controller in AC2.
Ubisoft has never released any patch to fix this problem.
It seams you have to dowload a third party software to be able to use the XBOX 360 controller in AC2.
What a joke for something that was recommended in the specs of the game.

If you have read good thing about compatibility, please share the links with us.

    Good luck

I can't tell for sure if it works on AC2. I just tested it on Brotherhood, it worked perfectly, no faults. The vibration systems needs a little more attention though, I mean, t only vibrates when assassinating or falling from up high..

    Thanks for the info.
I have bought Brotherhood too but I have still not started it as I am on AC2 (trying to make the xbox 360 controller work ) .
Good to know that xbox 360 controller support has been fixed in Brotherhood, I would have feel a bit ripped off otherwise (Deluxe edition as for AC2).
I have not buy Reveletaions but I hope it works well with it too.
I ll definitely check that before to buy it .

One question, do you use wired or wireless xbox 360 controller?
    Mine is wireless.

No problem, mine's wireless too, I'm more than satisfied with it, whether or not AC would want to work with it. And it works fine on Revelatons too. I was amazed at how games would so naturally detect the controller and let you use it to play them with. It's like literally playing on console.

At the worst scenario on AC2, you can just map the ****ons or something to the controller. Though, I admit, had I bought the Deluxe version and a controller, I'd sure demand more than fully functional features.
