this dates means nothing...only a some very rough schedule of upcoming work...
what will be in patches? in my opinion they lost their trust and there just can't be anything impotent...why? they can't fix impotent things (they already show this) and they do not have time and money for such fail project with no playerbase...
so what a point? to show you "they care" (when they are not) and to force you buy some upcoming **** for this mess...
i very doubt that they can pull out this game from this situation (civ5 was exception for me...but there was devs who do care about only one their title so they just find money and pull out their game from oblivion...but still it have a lot of things to fix)

just look...they out an empty patch and got a lot of kid-buyers :3
they can do 1.4 patch with "flavor text fixes" and get even more kids money :3
    isn't it wonderful ? ^_^

yesterday i find 5 kids who just bought a game...srsly...cause they find a patch come, but they did not get to check forum first...after an hour they already find enough things to understand that they did a mistake TT

Spending some time with your comments and anybody could have enough, stop throwing garbage everywhere! Everybody is aware this game is not properly done, but it is anybodys' decission whether they want to play it or not (and buy it) even if it means waiting for corrections. Some people enjoy playing it despite all bugs and draw fun from it. I agree that Ubisofts' behaviour and lack of communication is unaccepatable but probably it has nothing to do with game develompment (of which we have no 100% sure knowledge since it is kept between Ubi and Developer as it should). You can be dissastisfied with the game, your right, but for gods' sake, say it once and stop throwing it everywhere and any topic which arises here, everybody already knows that game is buggy and needs improvement!

Honestly, it is a shame... Back in the days when people were making games FOR the PEOPLE, it was great. Now, on the other side, they are making games only for the people's MONEY. Seriously guys and girls, when will they understand that GREED is going to bring the world to an inevitable END!!! Yes, maybe i am a dreamer, but... 1 000 000 fans that can donate for example 10$ , and give all that money to a game development studio, for the purpose of creating game, no, not just a game, THE GAME that everybody wants, i believe that this in the language of mathematics equals 10 000 000 dollars... And there should be some more for the lawyers to make sure that nobody will lose his/her 10$ and that the development studio will do the job its paid for. I see the things simple, and i believe it is simple, so if someone in the heroes community find a way to make something like my suggestion I AM IN!!! ...but then again, maybe i am a dreamer.

so you want to see something like "fans fond" which will be protected by law, and some group of people can decide to give permission on some piece of those money for some studio who will sign a contract with this fond organization for developing game?
and all those who "donate" to that fond have token for a copy of some game what you like or you can buy a game with that account what you like if you have enough donation there...
in fact interesting system, but i think some people will find a way to exploit any system...
for now we have system of "publisher" (as donоr) and developers...i don't think anybody wish to change it...

Excuse me, but I just read this. The sound bug is INTENTIONAL?

What, they expect players who want to speed things along to be impatient little bastards who need to be punished!? I don't particularly want to lead an army of bloody chipmunks.

I don't care how intentional it is, it's preposterously thick, not to mention ridiculous.

Be that as it may, don't shoot the messenger, direct your rage at Ubi instead.

    Game still freezes :(

OK, so I haven't been playing for a while, waiting for the 1.3 patch to stop the game from freezing during the Stronghold mission "the good, the bad and the bloody. I have deliberatedly not choosen a path in the former mission since that tended the game to freeze on this mission, but now it just freezes up during the Red Jaguars turn on day 1, week 2, month 2.
The patch didn't fix it!!! This game is so bloody annoing. Could have been great, but I'm loosing interest fast because of all these bugs.

Many years ago, in the prime of gaming and entertainment, we had companies who cared. When technology was limited and marketing was never used, game companies often challenged the way we see games, and discovered many new ways to enjoy them. The human's natural curiosity took over, in an almost childlike fashion, crafting new ideas never heard, perfecting ideas that sounded fun. And that was when games were "fun." When the developers had fun. When the big gaming businesses made games... for fun.

But now I see little hope for the entertainment industry, and the gaming industry. Gaming has lost all its meaning, when human greed got involved. No longer would game makers embrace the challenge of innovation and fantastic game creation, they would instead strive for a bucket load of cash sitting in their wallets. What has happened to not only the game industry, but the intelligent and formal life forms we call humans? Can we not see the disaster we are creating for ourselves? Game innovation is now only a dream, innovation means less money now. Back when games were not popular, they required innovation to become known. Now all it requires is a name, a title. Call of Duty on the box? Instant purchase. This leads to a loss of innovation, creativity, and in general a lot of fun.

I don't want this. I want to go back to a time when effort was placed into games. When game manuals were well thought out with a great storyline or humor that made learning about the game enjoyable. Not when it was about "Buy our game for extra stuff," but when it was about "Buy our game cause we think its just awesome and new!" I want to go back to a time, when I came home from a long day of school, and my favorite game developer had just released something I had never seen before, easing the stress. But most importantly of all. I want to go back to when games were "fun." When games were played because people enjoyed them, not so they could get a gold star next to their name in a game and brag about it.

It seems gaming has reached a teenage stage. Where they think they are always right, but still have much to learn. Until gaming matures and becomes a platform where social interaction and the ways we can interact with machines evolves beyond its current state, gaming will remain arrogant. So sure that the original was right, that they think they can do it again with equal success forever. Soon our world will advance beyond what we can imagine, and gaming will become obsolete as greater forms of media are created.

All we can do is vote with our wallets, waiting for someone to take the first step...

What the ****ing ****? The helium bug is intentional? They can't possibly be serious.

Anyway, they have generated enough ill will enough, they might think of ways to generate good will for a change.

Maybe by GETTING RID OF A "FEATURE" EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO PAID MONEY FOR THIS HATES!
