Need help in Riven, getting to top of gold dome | Forums

I think I have all the info for the marble puzzle, but I'm stuck on bridge from boiler island to dome. The bridge is powered, so if I pull the lever the end goes up, but I can't proceed. I guess I need to extend it, but it he's been so long since I last played, I don't remember how to do that. Any help?
PS, I am playing on the iPad, if that makes a difference....

I do not have an ipad so I do not know if there is a difference.

Here is a hint for a pc version in case it is the same...

MAIN DOME ISLAND (Past the Lab)
Go to the main entrance of the rotating room and make sure the exit to the golden dome is open. Enter the golden dome and turn round. On the right is a lever which raises the walkway. If it doesn't rise you need to go back to the golden dome and close the steam valve in the cave on the right. Return to the rotating room through the back door and realign the room so you can get to the raised walkway.

P.S. More infos:
After having raised the walkway (from one of the door inside the big dome go to another exit/entrance where you have raised a missing section of a walkway (after clicking a knob on the wall just outside a door) return to the rotating room through the back door and realign the room so you can get to the raised walkway.

i had already checked walk-throughs, but i was confused by there being TWO bridges, especially sine you can ALSO raise the end of the one from Boiler Island!
With your hint, I was able to raise then proper bridge, and get to it via the temple. Thanks again!
