Rare tracks as encores - can someone confirm...

Its my impression that after getting a rare song that it will, with 100% certainty, turn up in the encore of the next event if one does well enough to qualify for it.
    My questions are
    1. Is this true?
    2. And, does it turn up as the 1st or 2nd encore song?

If its always first encore then by mastering the rare tracks each time between events (maybe under a different profile) then one should be able to get all six rare songs in just 6 sequential events.

Edit: Of course the song won't be there under a different profile, but that's not the key point here.

    Anyone confirm or deny?

I have had the unlocked songs as encores, but not necessarily on the next event after unlocking it.
My last 2 unlocks, both events had 'Use Somebody' as the encore, even though I had just unlocked a song in the previous event.

It is more common for an unlocked song to simply appear as a song in the next event, from what I have seen anyway.
Much in the way new DLC songs seem to appear in the next few events with an absurd frequency

I've only had the bonus songs as encores a couple of times, and never immediately upon unlocking it. I haven't figured out the pattern to encores yet--some people say it likes songs with fewer plays...but I keep getting the same couple of songs over and over. I still haven't had a non-master mode encore in about 15 events and counting.

    Not 100%, but quite often.

I am beginning to think it is less played songs have a higher probability. I think once a song is mastered, the mastered versions get tracked separately, so they are also, less played songs (at first).

That is my new current thinking.
I heard they's a man there pays folks money to sing into a can.

Your experience of it seems similiar to mine. Its odd that different users have such different experiences. I wonder if it depends how many songs one masters etc. before starting to play events. I had mastered quite a few things before I played any events - maybe it decided to punish me for wandering off the path. How am I supposed to game the system with all this unpredictable behaviour huh? Huh?

    lol

    They don't make it easy!

I've only ever had one instance of one unlockable song being the encore.

I've had 2 unlockable songs come up in the encore after unlocking them. Ricochet and SSB came up in the event after they were unlocked. Other than that, just random songs.

The Master Mode encore thing is annoying the hell out of me. It manages to pick songs I haven't played in a month, don't remember mastering or ones I mastered on 1 or 2 playthroughs. Song starts, mind draws a complete blank and I pause it while I google the tabs.
