    Wtf just happened!?!

    Awhile ago I bought an armor of Brutus code for assassin's creed revelations from eBay. The code worked and I beat the whole game wearing the outfit. Then I stopped playing ACR for a couple of weeks and I come back to it today and there is an update. I download the update and go play single player and the armor of Brutus is gone from myself and the inventory and everything. I tried the code again and it said error already used. I want to know wtf happened to my outfit I spent crazy amounts of time trying to find one for a good price and was so happy when I did and now it's gone. Plz help if u know anything because I am pissed off and I really want it back.

    Same here, i didn't see your thread. I'm not sure what happened although this pretty much confirms what I suspected.

    Have you tried clearing your system cache? After that try not installing the update you won't be online but hopefully you'll at least have your outfit back.

    Let me know if that works as i'm in the same predicament as you.

    Ok I'll try that but do u think ubisoft will fix the problem because it appears to be happening to other people and it's really messed up. I tried contacting ubisoft and they kept redirecting me to unrelated topics.

    If you are given something by Support that does not fix the issue, please make sure to tell them that.


    update the ticket and tell them the solution does not work - and they should be able to help you further.

    I tried that 3 times and got the same useless response. But I'll try again if u really think they will help.

    That would work, if support had a better team. Whenever someone talks to them (including myself) I notice the same patterns:


    • They give useless advice
    • They don't answer the question properly
    • They bow out after messing up at trying to help 3 to 5 times


    I may only be a rookie IT, but even I know when to get off of my script and start using my own brain to help someone. What support needs is not our compliance so much as a better more competent staff as a whole. Hell, hire me I'll take the job!

    Keep in mind too, this was not a rant. It was an honest to goodness critique on something that needs to be fixed.
