This is what I'm using ...
Epiphone Dot Deluxe VS Limited Edition. Many years ago when I first started playing around with guitar I had a little solid body Ibanez ... I like this one better.

Thanks RCole, this is one of the guitars that I just had to have. I wanted 4 specific guitars in particular (Tele, Strat, Les Paul and Explorer) for sure and now I guess I just have to upgrade from the crappy Squire Strat to a USA model. (not that all Squires are crappy but I think this one is)
Ok, 5 guitars... It would be nice to get a hollowbody Gretsh instead of only having solidbodies.
Ok, I don't think I'd be happy unless I had 6 guitars. A Line 6 James Tyler Variax would be amazing.
LOL! It never stops.
I heard they's a man there pays folks money to sing into a can.

Yeah, I bought my Gibson in France, and even if the price is "the same" you get killed with the VAT and currency difference.
It is indeed, shipping and Import duty on stuff from the States is quite punitive these days.
Luckily I have various friends in the States who could order it and bring it to me whenever they're next coming over should I decide to order one.
Perhap SteelString will post up a review if and when he gets it. Owners rarely hate their new purchases though
Since yesterday I've done some basic research on Carvin and they do seem to be an under-rated manufacturer. Why is that, it's not like they're a startup?

If you say 'gullible' slowly it sounds like 'oranges'.
I'm GASing for an Epiphone Thunderbird Pro-IV Vintage Sunburst Four String Bass Guitar and hardshell case.
