I am new to Chessmaster Grandmaster Edition and am having trouble with a few basic things, I hope someone can help me.

1. How do you make the game so it says "check" when you are checked.. kind of like playing against a real person? I don't want every single move announced, but saying hearing a check when I'm checked is pretty standard stuff.

2. How do I get back to the main menu once I start a game? I am playing a practice/training game, and want to try a rated game. I can't figure out how to get to the main menu without quitting out entirely.

3. If I want to enable spoken move announcements, how do I have it not cut off what he's saying when the computer makes a move. Example: I move Knight to C3 and computer immediately responds knight to F6, the game would say "Knigh..Knight F6" instead of "Knight C3...Knight F6".

I'm sure by the 11th release of this game it has these very basic fundamental features, but I just can't figure it out. I appreciate any advice.
