Yeah, I have red on top... but I always thought tabs were upside down.

I read tab all the time, but when I play RS the red is on top, and I don't have a problem with that. When the chart is coming at me in 3D straight towards me the low e being on top seems to work better for me.

Inverted, of course. That is how all the tab I read is done.

Most importantly, that is how the fretboard looks, when I lean my over and look at it.
I heard they's a man there pays folks money to sing into a can.

I switched it to inverted yesterday so that it matches tab layouts. I have only started learning guitar since obtaining Rocksmith (about 15 hours of playing so far) so I figured I may as well change it now before I got too used to it. I have found it easier to transition than I thought.

I am with Marauder though. I rekon tabs are upside down too :-)

I'm curious, for the folks that also play shooters, do you play inverted, or not? After thinking about what Rcole said here, I can see where he's coming from, but my mind flips the image instantly, for whatever reason, and I don't think of it as being that way... It reminded me of the mental reasoning differences I have between myself and my nephew on FPS games... he plays inverted and swears that it makes sense. I play standard and can't wrap my head around inverted... He pulls down on a stick and expects the head to come up, like it's a plane... I push down and expect my head to go down... 'cause it's not a plane... I'm wondering if it's the same mental mechanism.

I play shooters inverted. I think it's because I started with flight simulators though. I play RS 'normal' because it seems more intuitive to me even though I read tab just fine, and I'm a big fan of tab.

Shooters and such I play standard. My son flips it, and I gotta put it back. It seems backwards flipped.
