Can't play Revelations Multiplayer on Xbox 360? | Forums

I just bought new Xbox Live Gold, and my parental controls are off. I have tried logging in and out, turning off the console, even waiting an hour. Nothing is helping. Both Xbox.com and my Xbox recognize i have Gold.

And yet, every time I click "Multiplayer" I get something along the lines of: "You do not have the necessary privileges to access Xbox LIVE content". What the hell? I have Gold, and an internet connection.

I heard about Ubisoft changing servers, but it said that Xbox ACR shouldn't be affected. Is it the server switch?

Please help. I'm so confused and a little angry.

what they said and what actually happened are two different things entirely that being said you should probably head over to the xbox forums and see what they have to say

Usually logging out then in again is advised after purchasing Gold, but you have already tried this. Can you access other Gold privileges or does this only happen with ACR?

There are a couple of things you could try;

Deleting the account and then recovering it (ensure you know your Windows Live log in details, username and password before)
Clearing the consoles cache (which will remove DLC/ updates and you will need to download them again).

I think I may know what the problem is, did you buy a uplay passport?

It's some silly thing that ubisoft came up with, in order to access the multiplayer you have to have a uplay passport. If you bought revelations new, it should've came with the game already, if you didn't, you'll have to buy one, i think they cost like $10 or something?

If you already have a uplay passport then I have no idea what is wrong, maybe try other xbox live games and see if you can play with them online, if you can, you know it's something to do with revelations/ubisoft
