It isnt my fault that i bought something that someone else stole... I left my door unlocked but ultimately they took my wall mounted gold diamond grill... Its my fault for being detected but not for getting caught in the smoke... They threw it and there is little to be done to prevent it from happening but you can prevent getting robbed again by being prepared for it. Dodging OSB is like dodging gun... Its not gonna happen a lot and theres nothing u can do once youve been targeted.

Smoke bomb is not overpowered, just some players and the way they use it is very, very efficient. It's working exactly as it was intended I'm sure. It's the most versatile ability hands down. It does not need a nerf.
OSB is not a "cheap" or "unsporting" at all. 90% of the time you got bested, plain and simple. The other 10% is because of lag, slant of a roof or stairs, or some stupid game glitch. This game is about scoring points. For me and many others, one of the big things we strive for every match is an Extreme Variety, because usually in doing so you're going to have a lot of points. If an Offensive smoke is going to guarantee me a silent, incognito, focus, hidden, poison, acrobatic, etc I'm going to use it. If you handicapp yourself by not playing to opportunity, good. I'll beat those players everytime because they won't comprimise some false sense of online gaming honor.
In modes like Assassinate, Deathmatch, and Wanted, using smoke for offense leave someone open with one or no defensive abilities.
Being able to use abilites in smoke is just about the worst idea you can have. It would make the ability almost completely worthless. We already have an ability that does that, it's called Mute.

I don't have a problem with offensive smoke. I hardly ever use it myself, but I don't care if my opponent does. My only complaint is that they should do sumthing to mute to make it better. With smokebomb, u can throw it and u can get focuses with it. U can't do that with mute. And for sum reason, smoke has a shorter cooldown? It's like half what the cooldown is for mute, and it's a way better ability. They should make the cooldown for mute alot shorter than what it is. Other than that, I'm completely fine with smoke.

First off, Mute is awesome. The lag makes it a little difficult to get used to, but it is awesome. It has extra edges - it is almost instantaneous, it goes up above you and my favorite, can be used to identify targets in a blend or morph group.

Apparently it doesn't go around corners though as I learned last night.

    ^ Agreed.

But they should increase the cooldown for an ability that powerful. That alone would balance out most of the problems.

I wasn't really bothered about the logisitics of dodging smoke. That wasn't my viewpoint but deadly's. I was just pointing out that just because smoke bomb can be thrown, doesn't make it impossible to dodge or get a focus/incog. The throwing part was largely irrelevant because the orginal statement was discussing focus/incog in an OSB.... meh

This is exactly the kind of player im talking about.... I need my smokebomb for every kill i get because im too bad to get extreme variety without it! How am i supposed to get an incognito kill without it? You learn to be stealthy. Games are not about scoring points, games are made for fun. Games arent made for people to win, they are made to enjoy. OSB takes a lot of the fun of being stealthy out because it takes no stealth or skill and most of the people that rely on it (like you) suck.

I have a question, whenever you use smoke without holding down whatever ****on do they just drop it or do they THROW it at the ground?

Sorry to say MUTE is another ability that makes you powerless.. I remember in Brotherhood you can at least walk or kill without using abilities, now you can't even freakin' walk...since when did MUTE have that kind of power. I call BS on that crap.

You're assuming your definition of fun is universal.
