kiril never shows up in dynasty tab - any suggestions on how to fix? | Forums

Got a problem on the inferno campaign and as this wall of text will show 1 more campaign.

In the inferno campaign I choose the generic hero called kiril and I have the dynasty weapon in my tab now (souldrinker) but the hero never shows up so I cant assign the weapon to him :/

anyone tried this as well and is there any way to solve it?

I tried it as well in the haven campaign, here I made my own hero instead of the generic one and this hero is not shown in the dynasty tab either=cant assign that campaigns weapon to him and gain exp/benefit from the weapon

Default hero will show up in dynasty menu (the one accessible from main menu) AFTER you complete the faction campaign.

Generic hero will NOT show up on dynasty menu, but they're selectable in their own faction campaign (if you want to replay the campaign) and in the final campaign (top row is the default hero, bottom row is generic/custom hero)

You do NOT have to assign a weapon in dynasty (from the main menu). You can also assign it by double-click the hero in their campaign, choose second icon on bottom left, then choose the appropriate weapon. Note that might heroes can only use swords, while magic hero can only use staffs (they're in different tabs on center-right area). Secondary heroes can use dynasty weapon as well, and they will also get experience for it (since patch 1.2)

I'm guessing that your kiril is magic.

As a side note, if you equip dynasty weapon (preferably a L5) on your companion hero (the one that gets carried over to the next scenario, e.g. Xana) at the end of a scenario, then the abilities on that weapon (e.g. "transfer life" from sandro's staff) will be available permanently on the companion hero. Same thing also applies for scrolls and equipment that grants spells (e.g. shadow comb's puppet master), luck/moral bonus (e.g. creast of valor), and movement. Not sure about other status bonuses though.

I'm doing final campaign as haven blood now, and the companion hero (Valeska) has 70-something morale :P
