    Reset Rocksmith

    Hey all,

I got Rocksmith on opening day but set it down when I hit the Tom Petty event with the Freeze (on a PS3) and Skyrim came out.

I'd like to just start over form the beginning as jumping in where I left off doesn't seem like a good idea.

My question is, can I reset, just get rid of my current game?

    Thanks.

I have restarted / reset my game twice! So I am fairly sure its doable!

Yup. Just delete the game save info and boom, you're back at the beginning like you never played it before.

Not exactly sure how it works on PS3 but on the Xbox the save game and the DLC are separate files so deleting the save game has no affect on DLC. I would assume that the PS3 works the same way.

Yes, they are separate files, and if you do delete the song file you should be able to download it again for free. At least that's the way it's been for me on Xbox.

Ditto for PS3. There is a Downloads būtton at the top right inside the PS Store, I have re-downloaded songs multiple times after deleting my "game data," and previous progress on the DLC is saved.

Are song unlocks accessible across multiple users or only the one that unlocks them?

only on the one that unlocks them. but if the unlocking user is logged in, you should be able to access them in multiplayer.
