Everyone would certainly like to have his/her title back, but once the word gets around, the tsunami of requests may be overwhelming for Ubi paid staff.
Personally, I can't see any reason not to re-instate marae's title, but then I'm just a humble unpaid-volunteer-type peon. Not Ubi paid staff. I'll give it a shot, of course.
