Sound but no video on startup. | Forums

I'm having trouble with running Blazing Angels 2 on Windows 7. I got it through Steam.
(I've had steam check that it downloaded the files correctly, but no luck.)
When I run the game, it switches to a black screen, I can hear the sound from the logos and the opening movie and so on,
and eventually the mouse cursor appears, but nothing else. Just black. If I open the steam overlay, it shows up,
but no text or images show up, it looks like it's been censored with white-out fluid, there's just white space in place of
where text would normally be. In the end I have to close it with the task manager.
I've tried running it as administrator and with XP compatability turned on, but it didn't help...
Please help!
