Exclamation The Next Info Ubisoft Will Release

GDC (Game Devolpers Conference) is coming up, and we are hoping for more info on Far Cry 3. Well there has been a leaked teaser trailer out, and that will be the next thing released. The teaser trailer isnt out offically, so that means Ubisoft will show the offical teaser trailer at the GDC.

    So, Whats Next ?
Once Ubisoft releases the teaser trailer, the one we've already seen. We will want more. Now I'm not sure if Ubisoft will say anthing else about the game at GDC, which they might do. If you've seen the leaked teaser trailer, is it enough info for you? No, we are going to want more.

Keep in mind that Ubisoft havent shown Jason Brody (the character you play as in FC3) and the rest of his story. So possibly after (not right after) Ubisoft offically releases the teaser trailer, they will release more info on Jason Brody and the single player. Then it will get to the good stuff.

So there will be no new info until GDC (Ubisoft could release the teaser a month before GDC and then releasing info of Jason Brody at GDC), but if you have seen the teaser trailer already then it is not new info.
But I am sure by the next E3 we will already get the info we need, or when E3 arrives we will get all the info we need they're.

I think ubisoft is trying to go for popular places to release info at, if they just release info on the internet out of the blue, thatinfo wont get noticed to much. So watch for popular things coming up such as GDC, E3, etc...

There is nothing more powerful than the internet to advertise a product. How many people do you think where at E3 watching the demo? How many people have seen the E3 demo on the internet?

Its not just the people at E3, people from all around the world watched E3 on tv. On e3 tv we saw Halo4, Driver SF, Far Cry 3 and a whole bunch of people watch E3every year. Just throwing info on Far Cry 3 in the internet and not releasing the info in a popular place will not get new fans to buy the game. People watching E3 on tv seeing what games are coming out and news and info on new games. Alot of people watch E3 on tv, some of those people dont even know what Far Cry 3. So releaseing info in a popular place that can get more new customers is better than just throwing something into the internet where no new customers will find it.

I would think that announcing at E3 in June 2011 and have nothing until the next one in 2012 (UNLESS it's the unveiling), would be kind of false bravado and blatant carrot dangling with nothing to show in front of industry leaders and reviewers would be embarrassing -- SO having said all that, marketing would have to ramp up by June I believe. This must be a summer release, or become the boy who cried "wolf"

i think you guys are getting your hopes up on an early release, Ubisoft hates it when games their own game releases are close and with Ghost Recon coming out in May I would expect a fall release for Farcry 3.

I was hoping for an end of March early April release and I believe that might have been the initial plan - But other games like Max Payne 3 have release dates that are due out around May time - They would need a set length of time for promotional work, Many interviews and Videos as well as traveling around the various countries promoting.

Ubisoft have cranked up their info on Ghost Recon Future Soldier big time and are showing actual game footage been played as well as estimated release dates so it would make sense to not go up against another one of their own games in the same FPS genre.

I am now thinking late summer - they released the last one (FC2) on October 23 2008, if the game is complete for the next E3 then that gives them a month or two for promotion, My thoughts are August / September time, not too many games get released in the summer holidays especially the big hitters.

Usually early September is a time to start getting out the Q4 releases, early to get 1 or 2 months head start on the other big sellers building up to the festive period.
I might be way off and we might get the game in early summer - who knows that's just me guessing.
