Its time for custom maps! Reasons are multiple and Ill mention just few:
-People have desires to create - new maps, old maps they have enjoyed in the past and need to play again due to replayability of the game.
-Keeping the game alive

Yes, this is much needed. I hope they implement it soon, along with a long list of other things.
When is the last time you heard Anything from Ubisoft? We don't even know if there will be a patch 1.3 at this point, do we?
Ubisoft has had hundreds if not thousands of requests for information since October and I believe I can safely say that we've received under 15 responses from them on these forums in that 3 month period. I just have to say, good luck getting any fixes or any comments at all from them going forward.
I've got a bad feeling that anyone who has high hopes for the game is going to have those hopes slowly crushed into nothing. I wish that I were wrong, but I'm probably not
Or maybe their customer service is just so God aweful bad that they just flat out ignore the communities requests for any and all information even though they're working on all of the issues that are so important to us? This is what I really hope for and yet can hardly fathom.
The possibility to play the user created maps online in multiplayer mode is the ONLY REASON i bought this game...
Life theach us lessons. Probably the next time i wont buy the game but still play it, if you know what i mean... The ******* stupids are the ones who were concerned in getting the "original" game. The smart ones didnt payed for the game but are playing as much as i do ... Tkx Ubisoft :|

If you think the game is good enough to play then it should be good enough to pay for. If you think the cracked version is better than the official, then load it instead.
