Assasins creed II installation problems? uplay account and install error | Forums

i bought the assasins creed I&II ultimate collection
which is turning out to not be so ultimate...
i already finished AC1
i was looking forward to playing AC2
but once i installed it asked for the patch. so i tethered my phone.. got it done
second once it finished installing the game player or browser (game launcher) had an error..
apperently it also wanted me to link with the uplay account.
wich it also failed...
even with the correct password.
is there something im missing here?

its kind of annoying.. all i really want to do is play the single player... i dont need multi...(maybe co-op lolz jk)
it was also having a data read error during installation which cleared up during the third install...

ps: will i constantly need internet connection thruought to keep playing?
cause i can only use my phones internet

Can you tell me a little bit more about the error? Be as specific as possible, certain errors have certain fixes

data error (cyclic redundancy check)

hey Skeletron 377.. your problem is also my problem.. i hope someone would help us about this similar problem of ours.. i really need to play this AC2 game.. im a Die Hard player of this. i only have laptop acer aspire..

I've looked around, and I can only find that it's a messed up file on the disc, so I replaced mine. If you still can, I suggest you do the same...

Hi, there is always the chance that you have a bad disc. If you have the ultimate collection from Encore, take a look on the front of the game disc for some support details. The support contact information should be listed on the front of the game disc so you can report the issue

I contacted encore software and they emailed me stating that they are working on a fix. We shall see ehh?
