I am trying to run Far cry 2 on Windows 7 with no success! | Forums

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to run Far cry on Windows 7(64 bit) with no success,

I've been trying to run it as an administrator, have set it as windows xp service pack 2/3 , windows vista, but none of it works.
The problem i face is that oonce i double click the Far cry 2 Icon I see the Far cry 2 loading screen (the Orange one before it get into the game) and nothing happen after that, it just stuck.


Now i've been trying to download patch v1.3 but once i pick the Far cry 2 direcory and hit the Next button, nothing happens as well.

Please does any one have an idea on how to fix it?


P/s: It is an Original Far cry 2 disk.

try this for me go find the fc2 folder containing the game(right click icon on desktop then click find target) first double click the fc2 exe from here and report how it go,s.if fine delete the icon from desktop and replace with the exe from folder.another thing to try is ,as above copy the entire folder to desktop and run the same exe from the desktop folder you just created

i dont have the game to try so its trial and error
