    Connection Failure

After inputting username and password, I get a (long) logging in message, and then connection failure.

    Any known solutions? :S

The server was offline when you tried to connect. Now you should be able to play.

I have everything installed correctly (1.51GB) and when i start game and enter Username and Passord it gives me "connection failure" for like 40secs. Is this the right update or are the servers not available right now or something bc it says the servers are up . I also tried yesterday on the fifth when it said servers are up but same message i get.

    solved

Okay I fixed this, please note this for other people having this issue. Xbox 360 also uses port 3074. In windows 7 if you have previously shared your connection from your ethernet port to your xbox 360 you need to turn the sharing off for port 3074 to not be in use.

For some stupid reason, this actually worked. Thanks for posting the solution and not just running off to play.

This needs to be in a sticky and the FAQ.
