    Simple Request for Online Play

I know by now most of us playing online have found some glitches or little things that irritate us during gameplay, which happens in almost all games. But since the debut of ACR Multiplayer there has been one big thing that i dont quite agree with. It's the poison kills. Now poison in my opinion should be 100% about stealth, not about running up and dropping a smoke bomb and then poisoning. But this is not where i have issues with. Its being the person poisoning and being stunned..... i understand in ACB that you can still stun, while just a brief time that you could do so. In ACR however as we all know you can poison your target, walk away and then be stunned. Which is ridiculous. If i had a working capture card i could provide you all with HOURS of footage of this happening. And this does not involve me walking out in plain sight.

    Ex:

I just played a little while ago in wanted. I knew where my target was so i joined a moving blend group while out of sight and then just let the group take me to him. My target was standing in a stationary blend group on the outside corner where he was widely open to poison. So by the time i had gotten close to my target i already had Incognito and hidden. I had not given myself away in any possibility. As i pass by i was on the left side of my moving blend group and the poison was easy. I dropped my poison off and didnt miss a beat(blend group still pulling me along smoothly). And then i hear "WHAT THE HELL? POISON?!" and i watched my target run 10 feet to stun me then drop dead from the poison.

My target has ZERO idea that i had poisoned him until his screen turned green, then i could hear him on the mic. So why should my target get the liberty to run back and stun me when he couldnt figure out who i was when i walked right past him? I was 100% stealthy. yet i have to suffer being stunned after i have walked away?

This to me just isnt right. Is there a way where Ubisoft could eliminate that big gap of time back to the way it was in ACB? Because the way it is now promotes smoke/focus/poison quite more than ACB ever did. It also removes the reward for stealth almost completely.

So is there anything that can be done to fix this?

p.s. - i use fast acting poison. and this still happens.

I was wondering why I was seeing so much more OSB in ACB. Must be all the people from ACR resigning themselves to a reliance on smoke.

But yeah that situation is disappointing. Removal of the stun prompt may help, though without a penalty to stunning NPCs people may just blindly stun spam until they die instead. Just a part of ACR now, gotta adapt (I'd recommend smoke).

I don't read long posts so this is my input...

    I agree.

Well i wont fall into that category. ill do smoke/poison once in a blue moon but its for a focus bonus and then thats it. I would rather keep my smokebomb for a 200 point stun than another 150pt focus bonus and then be left unprotected.

I think a lot of the people agree, but I'm pretty sceptical when it comes down to Ubisoft fixing this. It's easy to complain and ask them to fix this, but games are a lot more complex to develop these days, and it may prove hard to alter a mechanic that is so strong (in this case the stun). Even more in ACR where the stun is connected to an honorouble death. I'm saying this because it will be more likely that the fixes will come in the next release. Remeber that this is only the second version of the multiplayer game. It takes a while to perfect and Ubisoft is currently experimenting to see what works best. I'd say by now they've should have an idea of what the general opinion is on ACR. It's up to them to learn from it and decide what's more important. The gamer or the game.

A somewhat neutral fix if I may call it so is that a poisoned target can still press the stun button when poisoned. However rather than actually stunning the pursuer or injuring him, it would simply mean he'll gain an honorouble death of 100 points as a little compensation for still trying to fight back. This way he cannot go on a free stunning spree in team games when other pursuers are forced to run away because killing him would steal the poison! This way they don't give the target too much power while still granting him some compensation. But that's just and idea.

Well, i hate having to run after I've poisoned someone just so i don't get stunned.
Even when you do creep up they run about and search for the BIG RED "B" It's just stupid.

I dont use OSB /poison allot now , only when i feel i have to but in a way you have to use OSB because that damn "B" pops up over your head miles out. So i fully understand and im sorta , "who cares" when it's done to me , i was dumb enough to let them get that close anyway.

But poison your target , then get stunned. No Deal!!!

Hmmm, if someone creeps up to you in the street and sticks a needle into you, will you punch him for that?

I get a 1000 point kill and at the same time I get stunned for 200 points. seems fair to me. I really have no problem about getting stunned after poisoning someone because when I get poisoned, I feel like I gained something out of it by stunning my poisoner

Getting stunned after you've poisoned someone can be a thing of beauty if you use score x2.
