At the exact same time ubi.com's forums went down for maintenace Ghost Recon: Jungle Storm on the Playstation 2 stopped working correctly in its online mode. We were hoping this problem would go away once the ubi.com forums went back up, but it is still impossible to login now. Several people, including myself have the following problem:

When attempting to sign in to the game's online mode with a registered account that previously worked (before the ubi.com forum change) the game gets stuck on "verifying account on ubi.com" indefinitely. Sometimes after that message it will briefly say "connecting to ubi.com lobby.." quickly followed by "network error".

I tried logging in with my old account that worked before the forum udate and this happend. I can still login into ubi.com with that old account. I tried creating a new account on ubi.com (the account I am currently posting under) then tried logging in on Ghost Recon Jungle storm, but had the exact same problem.

People still do play this game online, so any help would be greatly appreciated. I hope there is a possible solution to this, and that the game's online mode isn't permanently broken now.

The problem is they took the server down for PS2's Jungle Storm. They should have kept the server online. Jungle Storm is by far still the best shooter created.
