Unhappy GRAW (original) not working on my laptop???

I recently bought my own laptop (a used DELL Latitude D620 off of eBay) and decided to install on it, a PC game I have been wanting to play again for awhile now, but haven't been able to because of the broken CD drive on my old desktop: Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

So, I install it (which is a long process, requiring much patience), I run the game and this error comes up:
    "Crash in application version: grpcrc1.02

    Failed setting up render device."

I have no idea what this means or how to fix it. The slightest bit of help here would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Well, I would have really appreciated some help, but I guess no one here knows how to help me. After looking into this a bit further, I think it has to do with my laptop not detecting the AGEIA Physx hardware during the installation process. I'm not even sure if my laptop has this AGEIA Physx card. I would just like to know is if this card is required??? I mean, is there some kind of alternative I can use to get around this issue? Or do I have to buy the card? This is such a shame, I really wanted to play this game again.

There aren't many of the PC players around this forum at the moment, have you tried posting on http://www.ghostrecon.net/forums/index.php?act=idx

Quite a few over there who've played most the PC games

Failed setting up render device = video card issue

If this is your PC - http://www.notebookreview.com/default.asp?newsID=2846

Unfortunately the video card - Integrated graphics (Intel Media Accelerator 950)
    is not supported.
